Padiglione temporaneo per “HISTORICA – festival di storia contemporanea”.
MO.CA. è la caverna in cui ci addentriamo per raggiungere il cuore delle nostre radici, per conoscere o riscoprirle. MO.CA. è l’antro, l’utero in cui la storia è incubata, rielaborata, generata a nuova vita. MO.CA. ha la forma accogliente di una caverna ma la superficie metallica di un’astronave, per intraprendere il viaggio verso il futuro con il carico più prezioso: il passato. MO.CA. racconta la storia con la sua superficie esterna: un volume perfetto, immobile, eroso dal tempo: al suo interno però cresce un cuore luminoso, pulsante, continuamente mutevole che sfonda i confini arrugginiti delle convenzioni per aprirsi al mondo.

Temporary Pavilion for “HISTORICA – festival of contemporary history”. Mo.Ca. is the cavern where we go to reach the heart of our roots, to learn or rediscover them again. Mo.Ca. is the cave, the womb in which the story is incubated, developed, and finally generated to a new life. Mo.Ca. has the cozy form of cave but the metal surface of a spaceship, you can take part in a journey towards the future with the most precious cargo: the past. Mo.Ca. tells the history with its outer surface: a perfect surface, motionless, worn away by the ages. However Mo.Ca. has a growing and brith heart too, a pulsating and continuously changing heart that breaks the rusty boundaries of the traditional conventions to open to the world.
